On-device appliance inventory
ApplianceLog Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026. ApplianceLog is an on-device inventory scanner for landlords and property managers. Plate images, appliance photos, serials, records, and exports stay on your iPhone unless you choose to share an export.
Data Used By The App
- Camera or photo-library images are read with on-device text recognition to capture brand, model, and serial information.
- Appliance details, warranty dates, notes, condition photos, properties, and units are stored locally in the app container.
- Warranty reminders are scheduled as local notifications. ApplianceLog has no push-notification server.
- StoreKit purchases and restores are handled by Apple; ApplianceLog reads the local entitlement to unlock Pro.
Retention And Deletion
Delete the app to remove appliance records, condition photos, property and unit entries, and locally stored reports. Copies you exported or backed up remain under your control.
To request deletion of server-side per-device purchase, restore, or generated-output records, use our Contact Us page.
No Tracking
ApplianceLog declares Data Not Collected. It has no account, analytics, IDFA, ad tracking, cloud inventory sync, or external serial-number lookup.
