Camera and photo access
Used only when you choose to scan or select a syllabus page. OCR runs locally with Apple Vision.
Calendar control
Only rows you confirm are exported. If Calendar or Reminders access is denied, ICS export remains available.
No default upload
PDFs, photos, extracted text, detected dates, and local plans are not uploaded to Bonega in v1.
The Short Version
DeadlineNest: Class Planner is a local-first syllabus scanner. You choose a PDF, photo, camera capture, or pasted text. The app reads text on your device, detects likely syllabus dates locally, asks you to review every row, and exports only confirmed rows.
Data The App Processes
The app may process syllabus PDFs, selected images, camera captures, pasted syllabus text, extracted OCR text, detected dates, edited rows, export history, and local StoreKit entitlement state. This data stays in the app container on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
Camera, Photos, Files, Calendar, And Reminders
Camera and photo access are requested only after you choose a scan action. Files access is limited to documents you pick. Calendar and Reminders access are requested only when you choose those export targets, and the app writes only the reviewed rows you confirm.
No Account, Analytics, Or Cloud Parser In V1
DeadlineNest: Class Planner does not create a Bonega account, does not collect your email, does not use third-party advertising tracking, and does not upload syllabus documents for OCR or AI parsing in this version. If a future optional cloud repair feature is added, it will require a separate opt-in and updated privacy disclosure before it ships.
Purchases
The one-time Pro unlock is handled by Apple StoreKit. The app reads the current entitlement on your device to unlock local features. Clashware does not receive your Apple ID or payment details from the app.
Deletion And Support
You can delete the local plan in the app or remove the app from your device. For privacy questions, use our Contact Us page.
