Metrava Privacy Policy

On-device by design
Metrava reads your IFC models, computes the métré, and builds the priced devis entirely on your iPhone or iPad. There is no backend that receives your data.
Local-only projects
Your projects, métré lines, prices, margins, and client details live in the Metrava app container on your device. No cloud sync, no backup server.
Zero tracking
No account, no sign-in, no email asked, no analytics SDK, no IDFA, no attribution, no third-party trackers, no price-feed network calls.
The Short Version
Metrava is a fully on-device app with zero backend. We do not run a server that receives your projects, your IFC models, your métré, your prices, your client details, or any usage telemetry. The quantity take-off, the cost engine, and the soumission prose all run on your device. We do not see your data because there is no server to send it to.
Information Metrava Stores
Metrava stores the projects you create: imported or manually entered métré lines (surfaces, volumes, lengths, quantities, units), the CFC price library and any prices, margins, and custom items you edit, the generated devis and soumission text, and your settings (default VAT rate, currency). This information is stored locally in the Metrava app container on your device. It is never uploaded.
Information We Do Not Collect
Metrava does not require sign-in, does not have a user account system, does not upload your projects, IFC models, prices, or client data to Bonega or Clashware servers, does not include any analytics or attribution SDK, does not use IDFA or any other advertising identifier, does not sell personal information, and does not track you across apps or websites. The app does not request your contacts, location, microphone, camera, or address book. IFC files and documents you import are read into the app on your device and are not transmitted.
On-Device Apple Foundation Models
On supported devices with Apple Intelligence, Metrava uses the on-device Apple Foundation Models framework to phrase the work-description (soumission) prose. Inference runs entirely on your device. Apple's Foundation Models framework does not transmit your project text to Apple servers or to Bonega. The AI only rephrases the descriptive prose; it never produces or alters any quantity or money figure — all amounts come from the deterministic cost engine. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, a deterministic CFC template is used instead, also entirely on-device.
Device Identity
Metrava has no device identifier of ours, because it has nowhere to send one. Restoring a purchase on a new device goes through the App Store: Apple already knows what you bought, and the app asks StoreKit rather than a Bonega server. Nothing about your projects, prices, or clients is involved in it.
Subscriptions And Purchases
Metrava Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) is processed by Apple via the App Store. The entitlement is verified on the device against what StoreKit reports: unlike the apps in this family that generate media on a server, Metrava sends Apple no receipt to us, because it has no backend to send it to. Apple receives your purchase; we receive nothing. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple processes purchase information.
Sharing And Export
The PDF export and any share action use the standard iOS share sheet. A generated devis, soumission, or métré PDF leaves the device only when you choose to send it via Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or another share target. Bonega and Clashware do not receive a copy.
Deletion
Delete the app to remove every project, métré line, edited price, custom item, and setting from the device app container. There is no server-side data to delete because there is no server. Device backups and any PDFs you exported are controlled by your iOS and iCloud settings.
