Open the bundled demo project, or create a new project and add your first métré line by hand (any unit: m², m³, ml, pce, kg, h, forfait).
Review the starter CFC price library. On the free tier it is read-only; with Pro you edit prices, margins, and add custom fourniture/pose items.
Open the devis view to see the priced totals recalculated live, grouped by CFC chapter (subtotal, margin, VAT, total).
With Pro, import an IFC model for automatic take-off, generate the AI soumission prose, and export the devis as an A4 PDF to send to your client.
Frequently asked questions
Are the prices official or guaranteed?
No. Metrava produces an editable ESTIMATE that you control, not an official, market, or guaranteed quote. The totals are deterministic arithmetic (quantity × your prices, fourniture + pose). The starter price library is an indicative reference you edit with your own rates. A line without a price is flagged 'prix à saisir' and never auto-filled.
My IFC file did not import fully
The on-device IFC reader extracts quantities (areas, volumes, lengths) from the model as authored. If a file has unsupported entities or fails to parse, the manual métré path stays fully available, and any partial extraction is labelled. Email us the exporting CAD tool (ArchiCAD, Revit) so we can improve coverage.
Does this need internet?
No. The métré, the cost engine, IFC import, and the AI soumission prose all run on your device. An internet connection is only needed to buy or restore the Metrava Pro subscription via the App Store.
What does the AI write?
On supported devices, an Apple on-device Foundation Models layer rephrases the CFC work-description (soumission) prose into an editable draft you review before sending. It never invents quantities, designations, or money figures — all amounts always come from the cost engine. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, a deterministic template is used instead.
What is free, and what is Pro?
Free lets you run a complete project: one project, manual métré (all units), the read-only price library, the priced devis view with totals, settings, and Restore Purchases. Metrava Pro unlocks IFC import, PDF export, the AI soumission, unlimited projects, and editing / custom items in the price library (with the fourniture/pose breakdown and margin).
Data deletion and restore
Metrava stores your projects, prices, and settings locally in the app container. Delete the app to remove everything from the device; there is no server-side data because there is no server. Use Restore Purchases (no Apple ID prompt on the local config) to reattach your Pro purchase on a new device.
Metrava is published by Clashware Sàrl, Lausanne, Switzerland.
What support can and cannot do
Request
What happens
Restore a purchase
You do it, with Restore Purchases and the original Apple ID. We can talk you through it.
Refund a purchase
Apple handles it, through Report a Problem. We cannot issue an App Store refund.
Recover deleted data
Not for on-device data, which has no server copy. If the app generates media for you, its privacy policy says how long the server keeps that.
Look at your content
Only what you send us. We cannot see what is on your device.
Fix a failed generation
Often, if you send the prompt and roughly when it ran.
Questions that reach us most often
What should I put in the first email?
Name the app, say what you expected and what happened instead, and give the approximate time it happened. That is usually enough to find the request in the logs on the first pass, which is what turns a long exchange into a short one.
I paid and the purchase is not showing. What now?
Use Restore Purchases first, signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase. Purchases are tied to that Apple ID rather than to the device, so a different ID on the same phone will not find them.
Can you recover something I deleted?
It depends on what it was, and on the app. Most of these apps do their work entirely on the device: notes, photos and records they keep have no server copy, so deleting them is final, which is the drawback of on-device storage and the benefit in the same breath. The apps that GENERATE media for you are the exception, and their own privacy policy says so: a generated video or image is kept server-side for a limited period so your in-app gallery can show it, and you can ask us to delete those records from the contact page.
What can support not do?
We cannot refund an App Store purchase; that is handled by Apple, through Report a Problem. We cannot change what a model generated for a prompt that was refused, and we cannot see your content unless you send it to us.
What this means for you
A message that names the app, the account or Apple ID address, and what you expected usually resolves the case straight away. If your question is about whether the app does a specific thing, the product page answers it faster than we can, and you are welcome to write anyway if it does not.
