Restore purchases

Open Profile and tap Restore Purchases to re-link a Pro subscription or credit pack bought with your Apple ID. If a purchase is missing, email us with your approximate purchase date.

Forging a look

Pick an archetype or describe any look, then forge from one selfie. Each generation makes one cosplay look (3 looks/day, 10/week on Pro). If a look fails to render, any credit used is automatically refunded.

Subscriptions & credit packs

There is nothing to buy in the app today: the App Store listing offers no in-app purchases. A Pro tier and consumable credit packs are built and submitted but not approved for sale, so no price for them is published here. If that changes, the App Store listing changes with it.

Privacy & AI consent

Your selfie is sent to third-party AI image-edit providers (via fal.ai) only after you grant in-app AI data-sharing consent, which you can revoke in Profile. No faceprints or biometric identifiers are created. See the Privacy Policy.

Content & takedown

CosplayForge is for ages 16+ and forges original looks from your own selfie only. Report and block controls are in-app, generated looks are labeled as AI-generated, and you can request takedown of any generated content by emailing us.

Delete your looks

Delete any saved look from the Cosplay Closet at any time. Source selfies are temporary and removed after processing; generated looks are retained for the Closet for up to 90 days unless deleted earlier.

CosplayForge does not require an account. For anything else, use our Contact Us page.

What support can and cannot do

Restore a purchaseYou do it, with Restore Purchases and the original Apple ID. We can talk you through it.
Refund a purchaseApple handles it, through Report a Problem. We cannot issue an App Store refund.
Recover deleted dataNot for on-device data, which has no server copy. If the app generates media for you, its privacy policy says how long the server keeps that.
Look at your contentOnly what you send us. We cannot see what is on your device.
Fix a failed generationOften, if you send the prompt and roughly when it ran.

Questions that reach us most often

What should I put in the first email?

Name the app, say what you expected and what happened instead, and give the approximate time it happened. That is usually enough to find the request in the logs on the first pass, which is what turns a long exchange into a short one.

I paid and the purchase is not showing. What now?

Use Restore Purchases first, signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase. Purchases are tied to that Apple ID rather than to the device, so a different ID on the same phone will not find them.

Can you recover something I deleted?

It depends on what it was, and on the app. Most of these apps do their work entirely on the device: notes, photos and records they keep have no server copy, so deleting them is final, which is the drawback of on-device storage and the benefit in the same breath. The apps that GENERATE media for you are the exception, and their own privacy policy says so: a generated video or image is kept server-side for a limited period so your in-app gallery can show it, and you can ask us to delete those records from the contact page.

What can support not do?

We cannot refund an App Store purchase; that is handled by Apple, through Report a Problem. We cannot change what a model generated for a prompt that was refused, and we cannot see your content unless you send it to us.

What this means for you

A message that names the app, the account or Apple ID address, and what you expected usually resolves the case straight away. If your question is about whether the app does a specific thing, the product page answers it faster than we can, and you are welcome to write anyway if it does not.
