Leafwise Privacy Policy

Local plant matching runs on your device using Apple Vision. If you turn on Enhanced ID, Leafwise sends the selected plant photo to the selected provider so it can return a stronger ranked species match. Enhanced ID is optional and can be turned off in the app.

Photos and images you choose are read on device to produce ranked species candidates and a confidence read. When Enhanced ID is off or the network/provider is unavailable, Leafwise falls back to local matching.

Plants you save to My Garden, including names, notes, and watering reminders, are stored locally on your device and are user-owned. There is no cloud backup and no cross-device sync. Watering reminders are scheduled locally and fire offline.

For subscription status and purchase restore, the app uses an anonymous device identifier (a random UUID) together with StoreKit purchase history. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any user account, and it is not used to track you. The app does not collect a name, password, or email account.

Leafwise declares no tracking in its Apple privacy manifest. It does not use advertising identifiers, third-party ad tracking, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. There are no third-party trackers in the app.

You can delete saved plants and reminders in the app at any time; deleting the app removes My Garden from your device. To request deletion of server-side per-device purchase or restore records, use our Contact Us page.
