How long is a tribute reel?
Between 30 and 60 seconds, depending on how many photos you pick. Three photos run shorter; thirty photos run longer. Music and pacing are tuned to the occasion you select.
What occasions are supported?
8 occasions: Memorial, Mother's Day, Anniversary, Baby's First Year, Pet Memorial, Birthday Tribute, Wedding Toast, and Graduation. Each occasion shapes the music selection, pacing, and visual treatment.
Do I have to record a voiceover?
No. Voiceover is optional. If you skip it, the reel plays with gentle background music only. If you add one, write up to 160 characters and we narrate it in a warm AI voice.
Is the narration a celebrity voice?
No. The AI narration voice is a generic, warm voice — never a celebrity clone, never an impersonation. This is intentional, both to respect the moment and to comply with Apple’s content rules.
What happens to my photos and voice recording?
Both are processed in-flight to compose the reel, then discarded. We never retain raw photos or voice recordings on our servers. Generated reels stay in your in-app library for 90 days and are deletable anytime.
Do I need a subscription?
No. MemoryReel ships with one-time credit packs — pay once for the reels you need. An optional Pro Monthly subscription exists in iOS Settings for users on a steady cadence, but it’s never required to make a tribute.
What if a reel doesn’t capture the moment?
You can regenerate at any time. If you’d like a hand, email contact@clashware.com with the occasion and the photos you used. We’ll work with you to make the reel feel right.
