MemoryReel Privacy Policy

• Photos or Videos: selected photos and generated videos, which may include narration audio, are processed by our backend and stored in Cloudflare R2. fal.ai runs Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro for video generation. Selected photos can contain faces and serve as visual reference for the requested family, memorial or milestone tribute.
• Other User Content: you may type up to 160 characters of optional narration. This is text, not an uploaded voice recording. Our backend sends it through fal.ai to MiniMax Speech HD to produce stock AI narration.
• Device ID: a persistent device identifier links your credit balance, purchases, generation jobs and output records. Keeping this identifier allows credits to remain associated with this device without a sign-in.
• Purchase History: StoreKit transaction and entitlement information is used to verify purchases, recover unfinished credit transactions and restore eligible Pro subscriptions. Completed consumable credit packs are not restored like subscriptions.
• Product Interaction: generation requests, selected occasion and processing results are recorded to run and support the service.
• Performance Data: generation timing and processing status are recorded for operation and troubleshooting.
• Other Diagnostic Data: job identifiers, failure information and operational logs help investigate processing and purchase issues. These seven data categories can be linked to the persistent device identifier.
• The app asks for AI data-sharing consent before uploading selected photos or submitting a new generation. You can revoke it in app Settings. Revocation prevents new requests; it does not undo previous sharing, stop a job already accepted by the backend, or erase stored data.
• The Library stores the latest 30 reel records locally on your device. It has no individual delete or regenerate action, scheduled 90-day expiry, or cloud-backup guarantee. Saving a reel to Photos creates a separate copy you control there.

• MemoryReel does not itself use Apple Vision, ARKit face mesh, TrueDepth, Face ID, faceprints, biometric templates, face geometry, face landmarks, or face-recognition identifiers for biometric or face-recognition processing.
• The app does not identify people from photos, verify their identity, authenticate them with faces, compare faces across users, or build a facial-recognition profile. This describes our app code; it is not a claim about every internal operation of a generation provider.
• The face-related input is the ordinary photo set you explicitly select. Our backend and fal.ai Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro process those images to generate the requested tribute, including family, memorial or milestone context. Optional narration text is processed separately through fal.ai MiniMax Speech HD.
• We do not sell face-related information or use selected photos, optional narration text, generated audio or tribute videos for advertising tracking.

Uploaded photos and generated media are stored in Cloudflare R2. Cleanup of tracked uploads is best effort, using an age cutoff of about 10 hours; this is not a guaranteed deletion deadline. Generated media has no verified fixed expiry. Backend job and generation records can contain photo URLs, narration text, identifiers and output URLs, and have no automatic expiry. Operational logs record diagnostic information without a fixed time-based expiry. The Library keeps the latest 30 local records without a scheduled 90-day expiry. Reset device data in Settings removes local Library and pending-job records and resets app preferences when it completes. The app reports an error if reset cannot complete. Reset does not erase the persistent device identifier, backend credits, Apple subscriptions or copies saved or shared elsewhere. It does not delete server or provider records. Retention by fal.ai and its model providers is not a fixed period we can guarantee. Contact us to request access or deletion; we may need information to identify the relevant records, and cannot guarantee erasure from every provider or of copies you saved or shared.

The MemoryReel iOS app does not use advertising identifiers, third-party ad tracking, or cross-app tracking. This does not mean its device-linked processing and diagnostic records are anonymous.
