BumpWise Privacy Policy

• Scanned labels are read on your device. Ask Anything questions (and the check-in category you choose to share with a linked partner) are relayed to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) to generate the answer or partner tip; they are used only to produce that response, are tied to your anonymous device identity with no account or name, and are not stored on our servers beyond the request.
• Profile, scan history, diary, favorites, and library preferences are stored on the device unless you explicitly link one partner device and choose categories to share.
• An anonymous device identifier and StoreKit transaction information support entitlement checks, restore, and the optional two-person Pro household.

Local profile and history can be deleted in the app or by deleting the app. Partner sharing can be revoked or unlinked, and shared server records can be deleted through the app or by contacting support. Delivered partner care and notification events are automatically purged from our servers after 90 days; unlink or delete removes shared server records immediately.

BumpWise does not use advertising identifiers, third-party ad tracking, or cross-app tracking.
